Business Terms

By claiming a venue you confirm you are authorised to act for that business. We record who claimed it and when. Claims can be withdrawn by you or revoked by us if authority cannot be established.

Facts you confirm — hours, walk-in policy, kitchen times, whānau and pet policies, accessibility — are published as business-confirmed and dated. They must be accurate. We never infer sensitive suitability claims on your behalf; if evidence is missing we show "not enough information" instead.

You must own or have permission for every image you upload, and you grant us permission to display it in Neighbourhood. We record a rights basis for each image and block anything without one.

Booking requests and "times we'd love more customers" signals are yours to manage. We use them to match diners to quieter periods, never to guarantee volume.

Business insights are aggregate. You will never see the identity of an individual who viewed, saved or was recommended your venue. You must handle any customer contact details you receive through Neighbourhood in line with the Privacy Act 2020.

Where a paid plan applies, fees and billing terms are shown before you subscribe. Charges are in New Zealand dollars and include GST where applicable.

You can stop using the business tools at any time; your venue may remain listed as a public place record. Ask us and we will remove business-confirmed content and contact details. See our Privacy Policy.
